Cafe Ava is truly 1 of 1! I am so proud that our LatinX community has a space like it that showcases and celebrates our culture through coffee and community. The best lattes and cupcakes ever! My favorite latte is "De La Rosa Latte" and "Ava's Arepa." You can feel the love when set foot at Cafe Ava.

My first time trying them. I'm from Boston and this trip was worth it. I don't drink coffee but I tried their Tres Leche Latte.... amazing. I had their Tres Golpes was so bomb. Wish they had more seating but the cafe is so beautiful with all the colors and Latin music and art everywhere. I noticed no restrooms but hopefully if they had a larger place they could get a unisex restroom for customers. Highly recommend them. A good take out of sit down if they have seats open. I'm glad I don't live closer because I would be there everyday. I'll make sure to visit every time I'm in RI.

Everything about this place is wonderful!!! We tried to go on a weekend but they were super packed. Now I know why! Will def be back I loved it so much! We had toast, sandwich, 2 drinks, & 2 pastries. All were great! I enjoyed reading the history/bio they had posted about the owner/family too☀️Food-drinks-decor-service -vibes-everything spectacular 🌟😎

This Latin coffee shop is top! The arepa “Papa’s Cuban” (chicken instead of pernil & add house sauce) was delicious and full of flavor. The pumpkin chocolate chip bread was absolutely amazing — 10/10. All of the drinks (cajeta latte, fresas con crema matcha & hibiscus tea) we tried were excellent. The customer service was good, everyone was kind and genuinely friendly. A place to come back! You are doing a great job, keep it up!

Great little local coffee shop in Cranston, RI. We ordered the house iced latte, the og breakfast sandwich, and a cortado. Everything was solid, especially the iced latte and sandwich. The cortado was a bit watery, so next time I’d stick with an iced drink, which seems to be their specialty. Nearly everyone coming in was ordering large iced drinks, so that’s clearly the go-to here. Their pastries and such look amazing as well.

First time coming here and love the vibes, the music, and great service. I had the coquito iced latte. It was good but it was a bit too sweet it overpowered the espresso. May 2025: Love this cafe! I come here on a weekly basis now and always get my choco flan latte or coquito latte and they’re so delicious! They are on the sweeter side but adding an extra shot of espresso levels it out a bit. I’ve also tried their pastelitos de guayaba y queso and their chocolate chip banana muffins and was pleased with the freshness. I also like how their pastries aren’t huge they’re a decent size as I always come here to treat myself. A little pricey but definitely worth it especially with how friendly the staff is, always providing a welcoming atmosphere 🩵

Absolutely excellent first visit here! We got the iced Sweet Corn Latte with whole milk & the Salted Banana Pancake cold brew. We were pleasantly surprised by both!! Sometimes flavored coffees can be way too sweet & artificial tasting, but both our coffees were perfectly sweet! My boyfriend got Papa’s Cuban and devoured it. We came in when the POS system was down but the team was adjusting well to the problem.

Loved this place! The atmosphere is truly something else — from the music to the decor, it has a unique and inviting vibe. Plenty of space to relax or catch up with friends. I had the arepa with egg and cheese and a Dirty Chai — both were absolutely amazing. The almond cake was fresh and delicious too. There are so many tempting options on the menu, it was hard to choose! Very clean and the customer service was great. I totally recommend checking this spot out.

First time here and I recommend. I ordered the Tres Leche Iced coffee. First sip and it got me! I also ordered a sandwich, Papa’s Cuban on a arepa. It was delicious! I’m definitely going back soon.

Friendly staff very patient. If it's your first time ordering knowledgeable of the menu and great recommendations. Food tasted great.Fast service.. good prices... Busy place... Unfortunately, sometimes they run out of the avocado toast
